300,000-year-old Giant elephant skeleton in siberia:
A team of fishermen in Siberia has discovered the complete skeleton of a giant elephant of an extinct species.Fishermen found this skeleton after the water receded in a reservoir in the Krasnoyarsk region.
This skeleton is of mammoth species of giant elephants with hairy skin and large tusks.
It is believed that their existence was erased from the earth 10 thousand years ago. Prior to this, the mammoth species of elephants had been inhabited in Africa, Europe, Asia and North America for millions of years.
The mammoth elephant skeleton found in Siberia looks like it must have lived for 50 years.
His complete skeleton i.e. spinal cord, skull and teeth of food and show etc. have been found in good condition.

Achievement of Giant elephant skeleton :
Alexander Kerzhakov, deputy director of the museum in the remote town of Novoselovo in the Siberian region, described the discovery as an important achievement.
In a conversation with the BBC, Karzhayev said that he has been posted in that area for 14 years, but for the first time the complete skeleton of an extinct species of mammoth has been found in one place.
He said that usually the skeleton was found scattered in a large area.
Karzhayev expressed regret that due to lack of resources, the skeleton of the prehistoric elephant could not be extracted yet. The skeleton will now be allowed to remain at the same place on the banks of a reservoir where it has been discovered.
It is notable that the Siberian region has been considered important from the point of view of animal remains of prehistoric times.
Experts believe that due to climate change, the presence of snow in Siberia has decreased, due to which the possibility of finding animal remains has increased.
