She completed her schooling from Marble Arch school and studied English literature at Mithibai College, Mumbai. Madalsa developed an interest in acting at a young age and honed her skills by attending the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute and learning dancing from Ganesh Acharya and Shiamak Davar. Madalsa married Mahaakshay Chakraborty, son of Mithun Chakraborty, in 2018.
