On hearing the name Tanmay Bhat, the first thing that comes to our mind is the face of a person who has made the whole of India crazy with his comedy. Not only Indians but also people living in countries like Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, England, the United States, etc. like him. Tanmay Bhat was born on 23 June 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. ”Junk food” lover Tanmay has been very obese since childhood. His body weight was much higher than that of other children.

Everyone in his family was very worried about his increasing weight and such a family, where his uncle and aunt both are doctors, his mother is an officer in the bank, and his father is an HR consultant. He knew that increasing body weight causes a lot of problems, for this reason, one day when he was in 8th, Tanmay’s father gifted a bicycle to Tanmay and motivated him to lose at least 5 kg from his body within 6 months. It was only because of his father and family that Tanmay not only lost his weight but also improved his studies. Tanmay not only completed his schooling but also became the topper of his school by scoring 90%.

His family members advised him to become a doctor or engineer, hence he started further studies by taking Biology. But amidst all this, the comedian inside him was growing somewhere. It was during his studies that he realized that he could become a better comedian. When he told this to his family that he wanted to become a comedian, his family denied it. They agreed but after some time Tanmay finally convinced his parents. Then Tanmay completed his further studies with Bachelor in Mass Media in which he scored almost 60 percent marks. Make your biggest weakness your biggest strength, then no one can defeat you.

These words fit Tanmay Bhat perfectly. He was often shamed for being very fat, but since comedy was his passion, he made jokes on himself. Once when Tanmay was in 7th class, there was a program in his apartment where he had to perform for 5 minutes, so he went on the stage and said that he may not be able to dance and cartwheels  you all, but I can definitely  make you laugh.
