Faisal Khan is an Indian dancer and TV youth actor. He was the winner of reality shows including the famous 2008 Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Dance India Dance Li’l Masters Dance Ke Superkids and DID Dance Ka Tashan. Khan was born on 30 January 1999 and grew up in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His father Nazir Khan was an auto rickshaw driver. Completed his 10th from Meera Academy School, Mumbai. She learned freestyle dance from dance teacher Shrikant Ahire and also got the inspiration to build her body from him.
He started his career as a dancer at the age of 15. She gave an audition in the first kids special season of Zee TV’s dance reality series “Dance India Dance”, where she was selected and awarded as the winner with ₹10 lakh. The show was judged by Geeta Kapur, Marzi Pestonji, Terence Lewis and Shilfa Shethi. The series aired from April 2013 to August 2013. After winning the series, he appeared in another season of Dance Ke Superkids, titled “Dance India Dance”. He was with Raghav Juyal in the “Yahoo” team, which he won. The series was aired in September 2013 on Zee Television.
Khan made his acting debut with the historical drama Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television, where he played the younger version of Mahanayak Junior Maharana Pratap. His portrayal in the series garnered critical acclaim, and won him two Best Child Actor – Male awards at the “Indian Television Academy Awards” and the “Indian Telly Awards”.
He received the nomination after the show. In August 2015 . Khan gave a special dance performance in the eighth season of Sony TV’s game show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He dressed up as the teenage Maharana Pratap at the grand premiere there. In July 2015, Khan appeared as a guest dance artist in the seventh season of Colors TV’s celebrity dance reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Where he was joined by contestant Mouni Roy and choreographer partner Punit Pathak in the special “Teen Ka Tadka” episode.
Later in November 2013, Khan starred in Sony TV’s crime thriller series C.I.D. He played an episodic role as the character of Faizal Khan, a dancer who is the head of a murder. In April 2016, Khan played a pivotal role in Sony Entertainment Television’s courtroom drama series Bhanwar – Kalyug Ki Hairtange Kahani. In June 2016, Khan gave a special dance performance on the finale episode of Colors TV’s talent-based reality show India’s Got Talent.
