Piyush Gurbhele’s Career
Apart from this, talking about her career, she started her career as a dancer with the famous television reality show “Dance India Dance Ke Season 6” in 2017.
The show was streamed on Zee TV’s The Show which is mentored by Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestonji and Mini Pradhan along with co-hosted by Sahil Khattar and Amrita Khanvilkar.
Piyush auditioned for the show and impressed Jasadges with his dancing skills due to which he was selected by mentor Mini Pradhan in his team “Mini’s Master Blasters”.
Piyush improved his dancing skills and gained popularity with all the performances he gave during that show.
Apart from this, he was the most favorite contestant of judge Mithun Chakraborty, along with whom he was also the 2nd runner up of that show.
After which he became such a face who became very famous in India with his dance performance. Only then did he decide that he would work on his dancing skills.
After which he went to West Bengal to work as a choreographer and joined Dance Addiction Dance Academy. Piyush was a part of all the workshops that he organized in his academy, dance and choreography workshops.
After working on her skills as a choreographer, she performed in Dance India Dance with Sanket Gaonkar, her childhood best friend.
After this, both of them also opened a dance academy named Sunkush, which was named after Sanket and Piyush. San means sign and ush means pious. His dance academy was organized from the association states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and West Bengal.
Piyush Gurbhele’s career breakthrough came when he appeared in the Indian dance reality show “Dance Deewane Ke Season 3”. The show was co-hosted by Raghav Juyal, Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa along with masterminds Madhuri Dixit, Dharmesh Yelande and Tushar Kelia.
The show was steamed on Colors TV in 2021. Piyush auditioned in which he gave the iconic style by Dharmesh on flute music. And had impressed all the other judges too with his dancing style.
After qualifying the audition, she was paired with dancer and choreographer Rupesh Soni. Both the couples have given amazing dancing performance in this show.
They had their final show on October 10, 2021, in which both performed, after which both were declared the winners of that show.
They were the winners of the show leaving behind all other contestants like Sohail Khan-Vishal Shankar, Gunjan Sinha-Sagar Bora, Aman Kumar Raj-Yogesh Sharma, Somansh Dangwal-Akash Thapa and Soochna Choorge-Vaishani Patil.
Both were awarded the Golden Trophy along with which they also got 40 lakhs in cash prize. Piyush Gurbhele came in front of the media after winning the show where he told that :-
He had to face a lot of ups and downs in his journey till now. When my performance was going to be a DM, then due to one performance, our graph used to fall completely down.
But I have got to learn a lot by being with Rupesh bhai and have had a lot of fun as well. When we performed together during the Dua show, I was the only one who was quite nervous, but the rest seemed relaxed. He even made fun of this thing because of my tension.
But when the name of the winner was taken in that show and my name came in it, I also reacted very strangely and I was shocked myself.
For which I wanted to cry and I was also Little Screamed. I felt really good after getting the trophy. I would just like to say that my journey was very good.
For which his choreographer Rupesh Soni had also said that:-
The day Piyush won, I felt like all my hard work had paid off. When I got ready for this show, I did not even think that I would be able to win this show. After that I started giving dance performance in it with all my ability because I was not performing thinking whether we will win this show or not bs we were giving our best.
