    Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa is a well-known Indian chess player who is known as “Chess Grand Master”. Who is only 18 years old now but he has participated in Chess World Cup 2023 competition at this age only.

    After which he made history in the Chess World Cup by breaking with the very famous chess player Fabiano Caruana in this tournament as well as clearing the semi-finals.

    With which he has become the second Indian Chess Grandmaster after famous Indian chess player Viswanathan Anand who reached the finals.

    Rameshbabu is Praggnanandhaa full name. Praggnanandhaa is Chennai-Born Who was born on 10 August 2005, in Tamil Nadu, to middle-class parents.

    Rameshbabu is his father, and he works as a branch manager for TNSC Bank. Nagalakshmi, a homemaker who frequently travels with Praggnanandhaa to compete in national and international events, is the name of Praggnanandhaa’s mother.

    In terms of Praggnanandhaa’s education, all we know is that he attended Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai from the ninth grade until 2022.

    Praggnanandhaa began playing chess as a young child because his sister R. Vaishali, who is also a grandmaster in the game, inspired him to take up the game.

    He started playing chess when he was eight years old, and then he began competing.

    In 2013, Praggnanandhaa took part in the “World Youth Chess Championship Under-8” competition, where he came out on top and earned the title of FIDE Master.

    In 2015, he then participated in and won the “World Youth Chess Championship Under-10” although still just 10 years old.

    Then, in 2016, at the age of 11, Praggnanandhaa attained the title of International Chess Master.

    Subsequently, in November 2017, he took part in the “World Junior Chess Championship” and placed fourth with 8 points. Then, on April 17, 2018, Praggnanandhaa took part in the “Heraklion Fischer Memorial GM Norm Tournament” in Greece, where he earned his second norm.
