A fossilized dinosaur skeleton discovered
Dinosaur : four years ago, a rancher near La Flecha in Argentina’s Patagonia region found an old bone sticking out of his desert property. He was discovered keeping in mind the recent news of the exciting dinosaur finds in that country. He then went to a local museum to ask paleontologists to find more fossils.
The most impressive of these dinosaurs from the far south of South America, assembled from 84 fossil fragments dug up from a dinosaur rancher’s land, are the newest eyes on ancient life to be put on display at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan.

The Hulking Skeleton cast made its debut as a permanent attraction. Museum officials and scientists say it deserves to be added to the ranks of the institution’s popular icons, such as the great blue whale and the fierce Tyrannosaurus rex.
This titanosaur was a young adult, the sex of which was undetermined. It must have had a prodigious appetite for all kinds of vegetation. Based on the size of its bone, researchers estimate that it weighed 70 tons—as much as 10 African elephants, making it the heaviest land animal alive today. Think of its potential weight if fully grown.
It had to satisfy its huge hunger by stretching its long neck to graze far and wide. With only a few changes in conditions, it could be the equivalent of all the grass at Yankee Stadium one morning.
