Mystery of Ancient Egypt the Untreated Stone of Aswan :
Abandoned thousands of times ago in the chases of northern Aswan, ancient Egypt, the Untreated Stone is a mass of determinedness 40 measures long( 138 bases) and further than,090 tons(,200 short tons) that makes up one of the most important mystifications of the archaeological world.
History origin
The creation of the stone was ordered by Hatshepsut( 1508 – 1458 BC), the fifth caesar of the Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt. The history of its origin is uncertain, but it’s believed that the stone started to be erected, conceivably, to round what would latterly be known as the Lateran Stone – firstly erected in Karnak and latterly transferred to the Lateran Palace in Rome.
One of the biggest factors that bamboozle scholars is the fact that the untreated stone is a third larger than other ancient Egyptian shrines erected throughout history.
It’s estimated that it could measure further than 40 measures( 138 bases) and weigh around,090 tons(,200 short tons), if completed – to more understand, imagine the weight of 200 African mammoths.
It’s believed that the generators of the stone started to shovel it directly from a gemstone, but during the process, they noticed cracks under the determinedness.
This fact would have been the main reason that led them to abandon the design, still, the lower side of the stone remains, indeed moment, fixed to the gemstone.

Important discoveries
Although this design has not been completed, from an archaeological and literal point of view, this stone is important for understanding the ancient Egyptian ways used in gravestone work.
During the examinations, experimenters discovered marks of the workers ’ tools, which indeed after hundreds of times, remain saved. In addition, they set up lines of ocher colors marking the position of the workers.
Another surprising discovery was made in 2005 in the Aswan chases. At the time, the experimenters set up an untreated and incompletely worked stone base.
In addition, they set up puppets made of monuments that may be linked to the place of origin from which other shrines were created.
Presently, all of these discoveries are on display in an open- air gallery, managed by the Egyptian government, being considered an archaeological and heritage point.
A ocean of unknowns
Shrines created by the ancient Egyptians are a great content of debate because they raise multitudinous questions that we’re still unfit to answer to this day.
There are multitudinous propositions that indicate that the shrines were transported by boats on the Nile River, although it’s delicate to explain how the determinedness millions moved to the boats, or how the boats supported such a weight.
Sculpturing the monuments directly into the bedrock was a common fashion, and masons used gravestone balls to remove any defects until the face was smooth.
There are still samples of these Dolerite balls in Aswan that were harder than determinedness and didn’t crack or break after constantly hitting the face of the determinedness.
“ It would have been the largest piece of gravestone worked by man to date ”
